The Downward Spiral of Our Civilization
Over the years, I've fended off one theory after another about who controls what and how they control it. Central bankers. Big Tech. Big government. Being chipped. The Antichrist is this that or the other and definitely around the corner. Or even bad actors like the three letter agencies.
Unfortunately, people who promote these ideas and others like them have forgotten something very, very important:
Power can't touch you, if it can't reach you.
What is happening now is the unraveling of our civilization and the ability of government to govern. Globalism has already died, and just doesn't know it yet.

The Downward Spiral of Our Civilization
When we first conquered the world, we had gunpowder and coal. When we conquered the world again, we had oil and then nuclear energy. We then fed the world by making fertilizer out of natural gas and mining phosphate and potassium with diesel power.
The ammonium nitrate that made our bombs go boom is feeding 8 billion people. That ammonium nitrate comes from the Haber Process and natural gas. And, the food gets to 8 billion people because diesel fuel is perfect for moving stuff around and plowing fields. And, for those of you who would like to visit some of those 8 billion people, jet fuel is what you want.
Oh, and if you like having the lights on and getting impertinent messages from the dark side of the planet, you need coal, natural gas or uranium to make the electricity that allows that to happen.
All of that is getting harder to extract and deliver to the people who need it.
I've given you plenty of pictures showing this, so let me give you some more:
This is how we got here. And EVERYONE knows that what goes up that sharply and that quickly, goes down even faster. And, the first sign that we're going to start crashing is a graph like this:
If the amount of crude oil per person all around the world is declining, there is a very serious problem. It means that the previous graph is about our civilization collapsing. And the next one is too:
Without oil you can't transport food, farm your food, or harvest your food. Without coal, you can't keep the lights on and refrigerators running.
Well, we should just dig and drill for more, right?
Well...
Unfortunately, we aren't investing in new oil production because oil has been too cheap to invest in expensive-to-produce wells, and I don't think that you'll like paying extra for that oil in the first place. But, you might not have any choice.
Oh, and it took me forever to get a straight answer on the outlook for Uranium and nuclear power. After years of asking, I got this answer:
Yeah, if you are depending on nuclear power to save the day, think again. We have declining ore grades for uranium, and we haven't been investing enough in new mines. You will no doubt notice the gap between all that investment and eventual production.
We are not going to get enough uranium to make the fuel rods to power the reactors we need NOW. And, it will take YEARS for that uranium to get to us.
Now, guess who is going to get hit first?
Yeah. China. Oh, and then the United States. The collapse of China is going to be catastrophic for all of us. And, we had better be prepared to make what China did and then can't. But, we aren't prepared.
Of course, countries have been working hard to hide all these problems by pumping out tons of money to cover over what you don't want to see. And, this is the result:
Notice when the debt really started taking off. That's right the 2008 financial crisis. They blamed it on mortgage defaults, but they forgot to tell you why they were defaulting. The price of gasoline was so high that people had to chose between paying their mortgage or getting to work.
You will never guess what they cho... oh, you did guess. That's right, they chose to go to work and be able to eat. That was the crisis and threw debt at it until it went away. But, there's a problem.
There's this thing called 'interest payments':
Just paying the interest on the debt, and not paying the debt off, is equal to our defense budget, or the Discretionary Non-Defense spending (take your pick).
Can you see now why we need to take a chainsaw to the national debt?
Now, here's a little insight into why that debt will be with us forever:
When you have low oil prices, you can grow your way out of the stupid decisions you made that got you into this mess. But, those days are over. We will never again see the low oil prices that gave us such optimism and wealth, that we could go into as much debt as we wanted, because we could always pay it off.
Well, guess what. We aren't going to pay off that debt. We can't. Or maybe we can, but a lot of pet projects will need to be eliminated.
Do you think that politicians will allow their pet projects get eliminated?
OF COURSE NOT!
They think that you're stupid and won't notice the debt problem that is about to kill us. And, that brings us to a graphic that I have wanted to use for a very, very long time:
This is how governments, businesses, bureaucracies and civilizations collapse. We are at the budget cuts point, but it looks like failure and implosion will be the result.
Right at the time when we need good, efficient government to handle this disaster, we have inefficient, incompetent and corrupt government that will be unable to meet the needs of a collapsing world. And as the world collapses, the first thing that we will turn to is violence and a little something called war.
Up to now, we have been talking about the ride of the Black Horse, but we must not forget that the Red horse comes before the Black.
In Revelation 6:
3 When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see.” 4 Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.
And then the Black Horse:
5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”
And, do you remember that we are feeding 8 billion people because of oil and coal and natural gas?
What happens when 8 billion people don't have enough food to eat?
That's right, they die, and the poorest will die first.
The Pale Horse (which is green):
7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.
Oh, and did you notice something about all of this?
Not a word about central banks. Nothing about secret cabals. No Antichrist. Nothing like that at all.
The first casualty is already here. Globalism has died, and the smartest people in the room are trying to save their countries from the fallout. Regionalism will hold out for a while, but I'm not sure how long regional institutions will survive what is happening. I doubt that China, Russia or the EU will survive what is already at our doorstep.
Putin has been clever to send the poorest of the poor into the meat grinder of his invasion of Ukraine. So, the center of power in Russia might survive, and they might be able to hold on. But they will probably lose everything east of the Urals.
The Han Chinese Communist government will cease to exist within ten to twenty years. There are more dying than being born, and this has been happening for several years already. It was only 'official' last year. What will survive is hard to see.
There are few countries with a growing population of working age adults in the developed world. The only exception comes through immigration. Europe brought in migrants from Muslim Asia, and America has brought in migrants from South America and India.
Who do you think will turn out better?
There can be no doubt that the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have begun their ride. And none of the conspiracy theories that people tell you will make a bit of difference to the outcome. None of the banks will survive. There won't be any microchipping. Secret networks will collapse. We will lose the Internet. The three letter agencies will cease to exist. And, as the world powers retreat from the global stage, one event will be left to finish off what's left of our civilization:
Gog and Magog
When Gog Comes, Ezekiel's Fire will follow, and nothing of our civilization will survive. Well, except for one very important thing:
