After getting both books out a month ago, I went looking for what other people believe about Last Days. It has been a fascinating journey through some really bad eschatology. Worse, very few seem to understand why they believe what they believe, and even fewer seem able to understand why people would disagree with their position. That's bad.
So glad to find someone who understands the way I and only a few others do, that the Messiah is the subject of Dan 9:27, who stopped the sacrifices in the middle of the week, not the future Antichrist, who will only reign for a 3.5 year period, not 7! The only issue I have with your view is that you think Israel must be saved at the beginning of that period, after the Russian invasion which you believe happens at that time. It is possible that you're correct on the timing of that invasion, but my issue is that I see the big picture purpose of the Time of Jacob's Trouble, aka the 3.5 year Tribulation period, is mainly to convince the Jews that the Messiah they are tricked into believing in is the wrong one so they finally have their eyes opened at the end that Jesus was the true Messiah. Then, they will call upon Him to save them, and that is when He will finally return. It is when they are surrounded and about to be annihilated they will finally say "blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the Lord" and He will rescue them and the planet and destroy the antichrist's armies in the Valley of Jehoshaphat. I believe this is the purpose, the main one anyway, of giving the Antichrist, meaning "in the place of Messiah" a time he's allowed to dominate the world and overcome the saints. So, in trying to reconcile your view of Israel's earlier salvation, the only thing I can think is that yes, they will glorify God when He defends them from Gog, but that doesn't result in all of them being believers in JESUS at that time, else they would not fall for the deception of the Antichrist, the false Messiah. They must experience that deception to finally realize Who the true Messiah was, and will call upon Him and be saved in one day, the Day of the Lord, when He descends to save them in Person.
