Peter was commissioned with the Evangel of the Circumcision, while Paul was commissioned with "my evangel" to the Gentiles. Were they identical? Was Peter a called "remnant?" Or, was Peter, et. al., called to be part of Paul's evangel and the church which is the Body? When one figures out that we have two incompatible evangels and two different callings...one evangel and calling must step aside for the other. Peter's fades into oblivion...Paul's must also fade into oblivion (fulness of the Gentiles)...so that Peter's evangel heralding the king can be proclaimed. God Bless.
Thanks for your response. By your response I think it best to refer you to an article... https://majorwithers.blogspot.com/2009/06/first-things-first.html

How is Peter's calling any different than Paul's?
I was called to Israel in 1992. I'm now in Taiwan.
I think that you are making a distinction without a difference.
